Roth Solo 401k Contributions
A Roth Solo 401k can only accept salary deferrals contributions. Therefore, in 2015, if you are under 50-years old, you can contribute up to $18,000 into your Roth account. If you are over 50-years old, your catch-up contribution of $6,000 can also be contributed to a Roth Solo 401k, bringing the contribution limit to $24,000 annually. Note that within this limit, you can allocate the funds between a pre-tax Solo 401k and a Roth Solo 401k as you wish.
